1 The discussions on an HPF standard were started at SC'91 where DEC had organised a discussion meeting for interested parties.
2 This meeting led to the formation of the HPF Forum (HPFF).
3 The first meeting of the HPFF was held in Houston, Texas, in Jan `92 and was attended by 130 people.
