The Information Wide Area Year (I-WAY)
The I-WAY is a testbed to prototype the following:
Teraflop- class wide area computing:
- Nodes consist of the top supercomputing sites, with acombined peak computing power approaching a teraflop. - Work is under way to make this distributed environmentbehave as one facility.
