1 At present, the following Services are fully specified and published:
  • Naming - locates objects on ORBs
  • Life Cycle - create, copy, move, destroy objects
  • Event - register/unregister interest in specific events
  • Trader - publish/subscribe support for object marketing
  • Concurrency - locking support for resource sharing
  • Security - up to B2 (government strongest) distributed security support
  • Persistency - for transparent storage (file, RDB, ODB)
