1 For the first request, the Privilege Manager asks the Netscape user whether the privilege should be granted, showing the certificate used to sign the code requesting the privilege. Grants are valid for lifetime of the applets.
2 Example privileges are UniversalFileAccess, UniversalSendMail, UniversalExitAccess, UniversalExecAccess, PrivateRegistryAccess.
