1 When the re usability is desired, the implementation of the bean class should be able to obtain the customization values.
2 EJB uses JNDI (in jndi:/comp/env context ) for storing and obtaining environment values.
3 Environment values (entries) can be
  • pre-specified value (such as company logo or name, etc.),
  • an EJB reference to another enterprise bean's home, and/or
  • resource factory references to the resource factories.
