From Overview of JavaScript I -- Basic Web Scripting Language CPS616 Technologies of the Information Age -- Spring Semester 99. by Geoffrey C. Fox (Tom Scavo)

Array Objects for Foil 50
1 In NN 3.0 (and even in 2.0!), we write: var states = new Array(50); states[0] = "Alabama"; states[1] = "Alaska"; // etc.
2 Every array has a length property: var n = states.length; // n = 2
3 Two-dimensional arrays are allowed: var acodes = new Array(50); acodes[0] = new Array(205,334);
