New features in JScript 3.1 (MSIE4.0):
  • Conditional execution (meta-statements)
  • New event handlers (39 in all!)
  • New statements: switch and do...while
  • Two new identity operators (=== and !==) which insist on variable types matching (default is to convert types in == and !=)
  • Perl4-compatible regular expressions
  • Debugger support
