The eval() Function
The function eval( string ) invokes the JavaScript interpreter on its string argument, which is evaluated in the context of the current window (i.e., globally)
  • In NN3.0 only, we may also write: object.eval( string ) In this case, the string argument is evaluated in the context of some object
  • In NN4.0, the above is identical to: with (object) eval( string );
