  • Fundamental variables 16 times 2 (2-level) = 32.
  • Total ~130 3D Arrays or 2.2GB for a 129^3 grid.
  • Difficulties with "good" resolution.
  • Difficulties with placing boundaries .
  • AMR will help here.
2 Computationally expensive.
  • Current serial version takes days to run on a T90.
  • Eventual computation will be a ~teraflop calculation.
