PARKING ON OCT 23 AT S.U.

At 4.30, I went to the entrance on the south-east side near the Biology
building, with access to Heroy Geology building.  I said that I would
like to park until 6 p.m. to attend a reception for my husband in that
building.  I was told that I would not be allowed to park in any of
the campus parking areas except Visitor Parking, to which I was directed
on Comstock.  Here I said the same as before and was told that I 
could only park if I wanted to attend the basketball game.  I asked 
where I should park and was told to park on the streets.  I proceeded
to the roads nearest to the geology building, which are also those
near to the Carrier Dome (to west of campus).  I looked for a meter
but could find none free.  I went to the streets further south and
found that signs indicating No Parking were placed on the side legal
up to 6 p.m.  I parked here temporarily as this provided the nearest
access to the geology building.
