Further Information

NPAC prepares and delivers advanced computer science courses and tutorials in several practical areas (aka Internetics) including simulation, databases and Web technologies. The Virtual University Webwisdom.org has been set up both to allow NPAC to deliver and help others deliver and prepare education and training using modern web techniques.

NPAC's activities in Distance Education Fall into 4 areas and are given in detail elsewhere. They assume all curricula material is web-based and can be accessed both asynchronously (self paced learning) and interactively (synchronously) with teacher and students.

• Courses delivered at a Distance with Curricula covering large scale simulations for scientists and audience modern Object Web technologies from Java to CORBA for the general audience.
• Collaboration Technology to support synchronous delivery and Students and Teachers interacting in real time over the Internet.
• Database technology for Course Materials to support storing of sophisticated web pages and XML based retrieval into web pages. Powerpoint and web page support emphasized.
• Database technology to support course administration and delivery with Homework and Grades.
