Satellite Imagery and Maps

• Satellite imagery is 29 meters resolution multi-spectral coverage

  • We have processed 12 swaths covering entire New York state
  • The data contains 7 spectral bands, 3 visible, 4 infrared, that can be combined into color images
    • ER Mapper used to create color images for GIS viewer
    • “Special effects” can be obtained by mixing 7 bands in different proportions

• Maps: commercial raster maps acquired and processed
