GEMCI Computational Framework
GEM is a relatively young field and so can target a modern architecture without too much hassle from legacy software and algorithms
Interesting collection of sensors and simulation with both real-time and traditional interaction modes
Use appropriate “commodity industry standards” such as XML and CORBA, as well as more specialized high performance computing standards like MPI (Message Passing Interface).
Simulation engines built in terms of the GEMCI framework with coarse grain distributed components and agreed interfaces for fine grain modules.
Sensor data defined in XML syntax
Use GEMCI to construct multiple Problem Solving Environments(PSE’s) to address different scenarios.
