1 VRML has been motivated by virtual environments which may be very important
  • e.g. Build a realistic school in VRML
2 However one focussed application is to "virtual field-trip" in our K-12 Living SchoolBook where we have a VRML front end to 3D GIS (Geographical Information System).
  • Preset map, image and USGS (TIGER) data and additional material from teachers
3 Can also use VRML to display results of 3D simulations such as weather predictions
in Table To:
