HPF allows for more general alignments such as:
  • REAL, DIMENSION(5,8) :: A,B
!HPF$ TEMPLATE T(12,12)
!HPF$ ALIGN A(:,J) WITH T(:,J+1)
!HPF$ ALIGN B(I,J) WITH T(I+4,J+4)
Useful for simple numerical shifts as in example but not useful
in general case of arbitary
index values allowed by
ALIGN syntax
