Foil 7 Audio Tool Functionality

Audio Conferencing allows everyone in the conference to talk to each other
Hardware requirements: Microphone, speaker or headphones
Control Panel Functionality
  • Sending/playback volume Control; mute button
  • Local Monitor volume
  • Audio Compression (PCM, ADPCM, G.711, G721 etc.)
  • Sampling (8,16,32,44.1,48 Khz)
  • Output Device (Speakers, Headphones)
  • Audio/Video Synchronization
  • Echo Cancellation -- The placement and sensitivity of the microphone can cause audio from the speaker to be picked up and rebroadcast back to the conference
  • Silence sensor -- defines a minimum audio level
