Definition of Fields and Events
1 Fields define the attributes of a node.
2 Fields are optional within nodes since each field has a default value that is used by your VRML browser if you don not specify a value.
3 Field values define attributes like color, size, or position, and every value is of a specific field type, which describes the kind of values allowed in the field.
