VRML2.0 Shape Node
1 In VRML, the basic building blocks are shapes described by nodes and their accompanying fields and field values.
2 A shape has
  • geometry, that defines its 3-D structure,
  • appearance based on material, a color like red, from which it is made and its surface texture, like wood.
3 VRML supports several types of primitive shape geometries, such as box, cylinder, cone, sphere, extruded shape and elevation grid.
