is for registering, evaluating and observing students in the courses offered by NPAC.
Because of its exposure to the public, the system includes some security issues both on accessing it and on transferring the data between the database and its web interface.
The system is designed in a way that everything can be managed from Web browser interface.
The coming new standard on representing students and grading, PAPI, are also considered in the design.

External Security
  • SSL Web server provides secure communication using public cryptography standards.
  • DB Module, CGI files, and server private key, are located in a completely private area in the file system.
Internal Security
  • Whole system is protected by user authentication, access privileges and access lists to access and update data in the database.
  • There are five user levels designed; Super User, Instructor, Co-Instructor, TA, Browser, Students.
