3D Animation of current weather is generated on-the-fly.
Radar data can show where severe weather is, and can be animated to watch these effect move across the region.
The system is designed and implemented to handle high resolution NextRAD data
  • NextRAD data is only available commercially
2D part of the system has been integrated with Tango collaboratory and is fully scriptable, hence integrable with the C2 application
  • 100% web-based, supports remote display functionality
