1 There is the People's Web where you pay to access but not to use a particular site
2 There are clubs such as America Online, Prodigy or MicroSoft Network which offer Internet PLUS similar services available only to club members
3 Specialized services where you pay money to use a "premium" site
  • An example is Syracuse Language System's Online "Virtual University" where you pay "tuition" for foreign language instruction through the web
