NPAC Web Based Geographical Information System in Stand Alone Mode
Terrain model is a very sparse triangle mesh obtained as a result of adaptive mesh simplification. Both elevation data and textures are compressed 16-32 times using NPAC's proprietary wavelet compression algorithms.
