The use of database to store data has several advantages:
ability to select only the relevant information
incremental world delivery to the browser
world objects dynamic
ability to introduce users to the world
ability to support multiversioning
objects behavior can be stored as a scripting language
As the database system the Illustra ORDBS is used
gives support for spatial data,
enables introducing new data types,
provides an interface to WWW servers.
