Foil 55 Description and Example of BorderLayout

1 BorderLayout has five cells called North South East West Center and components are assigned to these cells with the add method. As used in a window, one would naturally use:
  • add("North", new TextField("Title",50));
  • add("South", new TextField("Usuallyreservedforstatusmessage",50));
2 Remember this is default for a Frame Container
