TRY IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT!
What a concept!
Have Your Downline Built BEFORE You Spend Any Money!
There are a number important factors that increase the
chances of any networker becoming successful.
Initially, the most important of these is the momentum and
excitement of actively sponsoring new members.
How would you like to know that you have
an existing downline and
team in place to continue to help you develop a network
BEFORE
You ever sign up or invest a penny?
With our "Post Launch Program" you can!
A Post-launch is similar to a pre-launch
with two main differences.
1.) A Post-launch places a large group of
excited individuals into an ESTABLISHED Marketing
program instead of a Marketing plan that may only be
testing the waters (80% of new MLM's go defunct in the
first year of business).
2.) Secondly, our program uses a
new and unique TEAM concept to help you
to build a network.
There is absolutely no risk to get involved and no cost
to join Post-Launch. For more information, go to
http://www.clubshop.com/postlaunch881
and see what it's all about.
Bob
You have nothing to lose and potentially a lot to gain!

dear friends on talk2000:
two weeks ago, on August 19th, the 500 Day mark to January 1, 2000 was
celebrated by a group of over 50 representatives from different facets of
the millennium movement. the three day event at the oregon institute of
technology in klamath falls was a quiet watershed of its own. we
discussed many different aspects of the coming millennium era, which
obviously is already in full swing, and we celebrated, with ritual and form
which was created there on the spot by the participants.
fred stern, the rainbowmaker, created a rainbow over the campus, with the
help of the klamath falls fire department, and children and butterflies
danced together under a bright and benign sun. sponsored by the lifebridge
foundation and eco-communications, international, the 3-day event was a
great moment for many of these millennium-positive activists to get
together in person (!) and share, as we like to say in california. (
javier creus, from WAM2000 of barcelona, and freed schmitters, from the
netherlands, were among the foreign guests, as well as peole from canada
and kazahkstan). (though in these global times, nothing is "foreign" any
longer. aha! perhaps that's the true key to the millennium. the arrival
of the truly global civilization? we'll see, eh?)
hillel schwartz, phd., from the millennium institute, served as program
director, and has written an excellent report on the Tree Island Millennium
Gathering. it's sort of long, but will definitely be of interest to
anyone attracted to a POSITIVE millennium experience for all.

Subject: Bio warfare countermeasure toxin
To DARPA team colleagues
I am looking for some suggestions from the group on cytotoxic chemical
entities that can be formed inside a cell by two reactants brought into
close proximity with each other under strict geometric constraints. The
reason for this is that the technology we are developing to make molecules
that bind RNA can also be used to orient any two reagents inside the cell
by lining them up on target RNA. Cells without the target RNA will also
take up the reagents, but the toxic entity will not form because the
reagents will not be oriented properly to combine.
If we can identify a pair of reagents that will form an extremely toxic
agent, we can link them to our molecules and use it for BW countermeasures
and possibly other applications (i.e. cancer). I am thinking about
molecules with ricin-like potency (a few molecules kill the whole cell).
However, to be more broadly useful, the toxin should be comprised of
relatively small molecule subunits.
If anyone out there has a suggestion, I would appreciate it. If there is a
chemist out there who has some great ideas and wants to collaborate that
would also be great. Contact me at the address below.
Best regards,

Hi, Dave!
Eric has agreed to meet with us during the DARPA PI meeting. I told him we
would have more details as the meeting got closer.
As I told you earlier, this guy is a Navy LCDR, Medical Corps, and is
coordinating essentially all of the telemedicine efforts within Third Fleet
(i.e., including the Coronado). I mentioned you and your background in my
first email to him, so if you'd like to get in touch with him directly, his
email address is u00sc3f@coronado.navy.mil.
I'm very interested in telemedicine, and I think a lot could be done to
improve our (i.e., the local Navy labs) contributions to the field. I'm
NOT currently involved in the area, however, so don't feel that you need to
include me in your discussions with LCDR Rasmussen; I'm happy to introduce
the two of you and let things go.

Thanks for visiting Creativity Cafe. Please read my reflection of
KidCast'ing which answers a lot of your questions:

Don't give up on CU-SeeMe...White Pine is listening and is soon to make
announcement of upgrades that will improve technology transparency so
communication becomes the focus rather than handshaking computers.
We are presently fundraising and expect to find a KidCast Sponsor(s) as
well. With a budget and sponsorship, we will produce KidCast #8; although
"KidCast For Peace; Solutions For A Better World" will more than likely be
served at Creativity Cafe's presence, due Oct 8-11, at the upcoming
Children's Interactive Expo (www.place2b.com). I expect we will be beaming
solutions devised by kids on the show floor into White Pine's Meeting Point
server for CU-SeeMe with any of you that catch wind of it. Consider this
message your "heads up" if you would like to participate...PLEASE DO!
KidCast will take a backseat to our interactive digital storytelling
theater and facilitated networking enviroment where "Strangers, are just
friends who haven't yet met."

Before you know about this 'Important Announcement', you must
first read the following 'Editorial Excerpts' from some important
publications in the United States:
NBC NIGHTLY NEWS: "Members of 'World Currency Cartel', who
always keep a low profile, are considered to be some of the most
wealthiest people in North America".
"In concluding our review of Financial organizations to effect
change in the 90's, special attention should be called to a California based
organization, 'WORLD CURRENCY CARTEL'. Members of this
organization are amassing hundred of millions of dollars in the currency
market using a very LEGAL method which has NEVER been divulged to
the general public. While their purpose is not yet known, their presence
has most certainly been felt".
More excerpts later, but first let us give you this very
'IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT":

''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
We are glad to announce that for the first time and for a very
short period of time, WORLD CURRENCY CARTEL will instruct a
LIMITED number of people worldwide on 'HOW TO CONVERT $25 INTO ONE
HUNDRED OF LEGAL CURRENCY'. We will transact the first conversion
for you, after that you can easily and quickly do this on your own
hundreds or even thousands of times every month.
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS "SECRET FLAW" !
******************************************************************
******************************************************************
It is even more explosive than we have yet disclosed. While
currency does fluctuate daily, we can show you 'HOW TO CONVERT $99
INTO $588 AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT'. That means, you will be able
to EXCHANGE $99, AMERICAN LEGAL CURRENCY DOLLARS, FOR $580 OF THE
SAME. You can do this as many times as you wish, every day, every
week, every month. All very LEGAL and effortlessly!
It takes only 5 to 10 minutes each time you do this. You can do
this from home, office or even while traveling. All you need is
an access to a phone line and an address. Best of all, you can do
this from ANY CITY ON THIS EARTH!!!
Again, we must reiterate, anyone can do this and the source is
NEVER-ENDING. For as long as the global financial community
continues to use different currencies with varying exchange rates,
the "SECRET FLAW" will exist.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
As we said earlier , we will do the first transaction for you and
will show you exactly how to do this on your own, over and over
again!
The amount of exchange you would do each time is entirely up to
you. Working just 2 to 10 hours a week, you can soon join the list
of Millionaires who do this on a daily basis many times a day. The
transaction is so simple that even a high school kid can do it!
We at the World Currency Cartel would like to see a uniform global
currency backed by Gold. But, until then, we will allow a LIMITED
number of individuals worldwide to share in the UNLIMITED PROFITS
provided for by the world currency differentials.
We will espouse no more political views nor will we ask you to do
so. We can say however, that our parent organization, NDML,
benefits greatly by the knowledge being shared, as we
ourselves, along with YOU, benefit likewise. Your main concern
surely will be, how you will benefit.
As soon as you become a member, you will make transactions from
your home, office, by telephone or through the mail. You can
conduct these transactions even while traveling.
Don't believe us? Experience it for yourself!
;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;
Unlike anyone else, we will assure you great financial freedom and
you will add to our quickly growing base of supporters and join
the list of MILLIONAIRES being created using this very "SECRET
FLAW" in the world currency market.

All,
The deadline has passed for turning in your hard copy presentation material
for the SM/WV PI meeting. Only a few people complied with this request so we
will not be putting together a presentation book for your use at the PI
meeting. But we still want to make copies of your vugraphs available to
everyone. So we are going electronic and we will also give you a little
break on the time limit. HOWEVER, YOU MUST UPLOAD YOUR BRIEFING TO THE WEB
SITE BELOW PRIOR TO THE PI MEETING. WE HAVE ASKED THE SEALS TO ARRANGE A
"SPECIAL EVENT" FOR ALL THOSE WHO SHOW UP AT THE MEETING WITHOUT UPLOADING
THEIR PRESENTATIONS.
An Extranet site has been made available for you to submit your Smart
Modules & Warfighter Visualization presentations. For those of you
unfamiliar with the Extranet, it is a shared network resource between
trusted parties. This will enable you to upload your presentation; it will
also allow all meeting participants (with the password) to read and print
the presentations on this site. All files must be Microsoft Office
Applications. Please make sure that the Power Point files are not higher
than 4.0.
This site is not on the public web so we don't need to get Dept of Defense
Public Affairs to approve nor will it be accessable by anyone without the
proper password. Its just for our own community.
Here are the instructions on how to upload files to the Extranet:
- Open your Netscape Navigator 4.0x browser* and enter the following URL:
http://www2000.sysplan.com/SMWV/
- Enter the User Name: smwv
- Enter Password: brittany
- Click the "login" button.
- To upload a file, choose "File Exchange" under the Activities menu
(located on the top-left of the welcome page).
- Open the appropriate folder (Smart Modules or Warfighter
Visualization).
- Once you've chosen the appropriate folder, use the "Browse" button in
the Extranet File Manager to locate your file on your computer.
- Select your file and then click "Upload File".
If anyone has a problem accessing the Extranet, please contact Ms. Judi
Parker via email, jparker@sysplan.com, or by phone, 703-351-8402.
At this time Netscape Navigator is the only browser that can be used for
this purpose. Internet
Explorer cannot be used to access the Extranet. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause and offer
the following alternatives:
1. Download Netscape Navigator and access the Extranet again; or
2. Upload your file to SPC's ftp site, ftp://ftp.sysplan.com/Incoming,
and then send an email to Judi Parker letting her know the name and location
of the file.
Looking forward to seeing you in San Diego.

Greetings Dave -
Still hoping to connect. I have a cool application for your bend
sensors and electromyographic patches in the NASA arena, and I'm
working with Cori Lathan and Mike Rosen to develop collaborative
projects/proposals integrating VR, robotics and rehab. Never heard
back from Rahul; give me some feedback about sensor availability
when you have a moment. Thanks

Dear XII/2 Eagles: Following is the information on
the Thursday, Sept. 10th meeting of the East Coast
XII/2 Core Technical Group.
This meeting is a departure from our regular format
and will be held in conjunction with the Annual
Meeting of the National Emergency Managers Assoc.
Our meeting will be from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in
the Gadsen Room at the Charleston Place Hotel,
Charleston, South Carolina. That same day, (and
immediately prior to our meeting starting at 3:00 pm)
several of us have been invited to brief XII at 1:00 pm
to the NEMA Information Infrastructure Committee,
Roy Price, Chair and Director of Emergency
Management for the State of Hawaii. For those of
you in the area at 1:00 pm please attend the earlier
session as guests of the NEMA committee (space
in the Gadsen Room permitting.)
We are combining their invitation to brief, with a short
East Coast face-to-face XII/2 coordination meeting,
as a means to cut travel costs since so many of us will
be attending the NEMA meeting for reasons other than XII.
As you remember, NEMA has been our first co-partner in
XII. Mr. Keith Lough, until his retirement as State Director
for Mew Mexico, and then as Program Manager for
XII Part One, had performed the function of liaison for
the NEMA cadre. Now that he has retired, we need to
re-inform the general membership of NEMA and inspire
a greater participation on the part of all the States.
In the unfortunate absence of exemplary interest for interlinking
communications within the NON-military sections of the
Federal departments -- it has been the state, local and
military services who have better understood the heightened
risk of WMD and the need for a multi-level,
multi-agency communications architecture such as XII.
We look forward to a productive (but short) meeting to
continue the coordination of the East Coast participation
in XII/2. Press On! Lois

"The neurophone, unplugged
......
Was I experiencing Flanagan's revolutionary
"neuroception," or just bone resonant transfer exciting my
inner ear? Skin does possess piezoelectric properties that
are not completely understood. Then again quacks and
con men have been peddling electric miracles for
centuries.
As I pondered this question Dai Leon showed me an even
more astounding discovery. He unplugged the headphones
from the neurophone box and plugged them directly into
the CD player. Amazing! Astounding! The neurophone
worked even when it wasn't plugged in!
A few days after discovering that the neurophone wasn't
needed to get the neurophone effect, Dai Leon hacked his
way through Flanagan's technology. Leon decided to
break with the master of Pyramid Power and create his
own device, the Grokbox. Flanagan supporters were
outraged. Flanagan debunkers were ecstatic. Consumers
were confused. Neurophone or Grokbox? Fraud or fun?
"
I was going to buy one, but not sure after this. Has anybody done this
test?
Ismael

Hi David,
nothing new to tell you. It's 6:00 a.m. and I couldnot sleep so I am on
the computer once again. I am going to call Comp USA today and see about
some classes today. I am the only one who uses this computer. I think I
am going to Monterey this weekend. I just want to get away and walk on
the beach. Zeus is up to 16 pounds now. He is getting to big to sleep on
my neck now. He woke me up this morning chewing on his food. Do you like
the new BMW ROADSTER? I am thinking about buying one. I have a weakness
for a cute sportscar. Two
seats one for kitty boy and I. I am still driving everyone elses car.
Its nice because I don't have a car payment or insurance. Sorry, I
haven't been better about E-mailing you. Tell Janice hi for me o.k.?
Roxanne sent a really cute card and some information from Steve's
computer.
I like my internet server much better than Aol on this computer.
This is like a dinosaur.
Well, I guess thats everything.
marti.

Interesting. a total fraud calling the kettle black.
Several people that I know have tried the Fraud Box and deem it a worthless piece of
junk.
It's easy to be sucked into buying one because the price is so low.
At around $149.00 or whatever, you simply can't go wrong.....can you?
Putting the Shit Box on the same level as the Neurophone is like saying the Sheally
Relaxmate is on the par with a Nova Pro.
Hell for $49.00 you can get a soundless battery powered pair of sunglasses with one
weak, lethargically flickering LED in each eyepiece. Pretty cool eh pilgrim. Why
spend $349.00 on a Pro or X-II when you can get a Relaxmate.
This comparison may be a little unfair because at least the Relaxmate will do what
is is meant to do, and that is, to very inexpensively put a weak flickering field of
light before your closed eyelids. The result "may" have relaxing effects.
The producer of the G-Box is just what the article says he is , a "hack". He was
able to hack a cheap imitation of Flanagan's proprietary technology and build a
shadow of the real thing and in the process scam the public and piss of serious
researchers.
It's already been proven that the N-Phone does not rely on bone conduction.
This link will clarify that fact: http://www.xyz.net/~nohaarp/neuronews.htm
Hopefully Gentry Smith will respond to this post being one of the most knowledgable
neurophoners in the world today.
Gentry..are you there?...........hello....Gentry...........paging Gentry Smith!!! Yo
Gentry give us a kiss.

Dave,
I put together this "one pager" for Shaun Jones. Here is his reply:
Much is possible..put together a team and send me a revised paper. I
have been discussing related concepts with Tom Ferrell, Dave Warner,
Annie Sobel etc informally for some time.
Look forward to hearing from you.
This could be the thing that gets us started in San Diego. Do you know
Tom Ferrell and Annie Sobel. Should we partner with them? What about
Dave Cole? Or should we just try for a PO for you and I to start off
with.
Talk to ya
Erik

Dear Andre,
Thanks again for your request that I teach in your country. In order for me
to decide I need some information. Please answer the following questions to
educate me as to your needs?
What is the duration for which you request my services (weeks, months)?
When do you request my services, Spring, Summer, Fall 1999?
How old are the students and have they some computer experience already?
What kind of technology will I be using...Mac &/or PC... Scanners.... A/V
digitizing?
What software do you have?
Do you have audio and video production equipment?
Are you able/willing to buy what I need to Teach (i.e., Photoshop,
Premiere, Director, Sound Edit Pro)?
Do you want me to teach more than one session (K-12 and Youth, Adults, or
Mixed which is fine)?
Will I have access to the use of a vehicle?
What are the duration of the classes you envision?
Is there anything else I should know such as special events happening in
the season I will be there, weather conditions...technology/media events?
Are there any Cyber Cafes there?
Thanks for taking the time to respond.
Blessings,
-Peter-

Newsletter of Visionary Artists Resources Including Other Unique Services
and Creativity Cafe: September 1998
Greetings Friends of Creativity Cafe, Art and Technology,
Our Creativity Cafe installation and featured production of "KidCast For
Peace; Solutions For A Better World" at Siggraph'98 was a great success!
Thanks in no small part to the initiative of Dekle Vickers who exhibited
PRONOIA to the max, and transported his entire middle school computer lab
to Orlando in support of our KidCast!! I'm not quite recovered from the
magic and miracles, the clear and compassionate communication that
resulted, and the spectacular sponsor support from White Pine Software
(CU-SeeMe), Hawks' Nest Productions, MetaCreations, Intergraph Computer
Systems, Adobe Systems, Inc., Macromedia Inc., Maui.net, Whole Earth
Networks, Canon Cameras, Global SchooNet, ACM Siggraph and so many others
(posted in KidCast Central)... Thank you all!!
The hard work and dedication to KidCast by our global teammates is
beginning to payoff. In addition to in-kind support from sponsors, I would
like to thank Dave Warner especially. His Institute for Interventional
Informatics funded the KidCast production cycle for our Spring and Summer
KidCasts in 1998. We are now seeking present and future support! Is
someone out there willing to pick up the tab to enable KidCast's future
unflodment? Please let us know! Dave's crew of "cyber elves" proved
especially hospitible as they operated the SIGGRAPH'98 Cyberarium (so close
in intention to CCafe) in the booth next to (www.pulsar.org) Creativity
Cafe's "New School For the Next Millennium."
KidCast#8; July 19-24, connected kids from Hawaii, Saipan with those in
our booth in the sigKids interACTive area. Special mention and recognition
goes to Paul Hugel of the S.A.V.E. Maui program... Paul organized a
spectacular performance for our CU-SeeMe audience of his own "cyber elves"
who delivered their KidCast play, live over our CU-SeeMe KidCast
Network...A KidCast first...Well done Paul!!
It's been a while since I've posted to the V.A.R.I.O.U.S. list. Many
things are brewing here at Creativity Cafe...especially as a result of
receiving honorable mention in the SIG/TEL 1998 Online Learning Award for
KidCast. A description of the event and a required assessment of KidCast
can be found at:
http://creativity.net/cgi-bin/nu4m/cc4m/index.cgi?read=261. The
announcement immediately preceeded our presence at the prestegious
SIGGRAPH'98 Conference in Orlando, Florida.
We are grateful for the support of many individuals--including *you* dear
reader. Your encouragement and ongoing interest is what keeps this writer
going (as well as my passion and vision that Creativity Cafe's
contributrion to unfolding a better world is significant). Without your
well wishes and volunteering, this milestone in our evolution would not
have happened. We were aided by student volunteers from all over the world
who received software donated by MetaCreations, Adobe Systems and
Macromedia as an appreciation their efforts as official KidCast Tour
Guides!
I was amazed...
to see that what I had plotted on paper a month before the event, had come
to pass in physical reality, almost inch for inch in a 600 sq. ft. (approx)
booth. That's always a thrill for an artist, especially one without a
budget. My experience proves what haning on to a dream and lots of chutzpah
can produce :-)
To have reality mirror one's imagination is akin to a photographer watching
that first image appear in the developer solution. The moment outshined
only by the volunteers, Siggraph staff and sponsor support! We made some
great impressions and new friends. We have begun discussion for
collaboration and partnership with attendees of the conference and
organizations such as American Computer Experience, PhotoDisk, Club2000,
NTT SOFT and others inquiring about and/or desiring to collaborate with
KidCast For Peace and Creativity Cafe.
"KidCast" has finally begun to get the public acceptance and recognition it
deserves. It has further been launched into mainstream awareness thanks to
our mention in the September Issue of "Learning and Leading with
Technology;" a publication of the International Society for Technology in
Education (www.iste.org) serving teachers in the classroom:

WHEN IS A WHIM GOLDEN?:
========================================================
After recovering from SIGGRAPH'98 for less than a week...after 3 months of
planning and execution, an email stirred my molecules into action again. In
a serendipitous moment of decision, I agreed to attend the Millennium
Gathering at Tree Island Institute in Klamath Falls, Oregon (info linked to
in our community forum). This proactive gathering of passionate people
concerned with making this a better world has now become an alliance...and
are coordinating activities taking place at the end of the current
Millennium.
Organizers of celebrations around the world gathered for 3 days to
coordinate and interweave their projects in various ways including planned
CU-SeeMe cybercasts. Many discussions regarding mutual support system
design took place (more pronoia; http://creativity.net/pronoia.html, in
action). The schedual for the event:
http://www.treeisland.com/Day500/schedule.html, will give you a clue as to
our mutal agenda. I connected with email buddies face-to-face for the first
time as did many others in attendance coming from as far as Spain,
Amsterdam and Kazakstan (formally in Russia).
Reports on the conference and photos (a videotape overview is in
production) are available at: www.CountUP2000.com/news11.htm. To see the
birth of the THIRD CITY Performance Ensamble and beginnings of CCTV (the
Creativity Cafe Television Network) check out a skinny dipping photo of
Klamath Lake with our "cast:"
http://creativity.net/cgi-bin/nu4m/cc4m/index.cgi?read=331.
Allow me take the liberty of giving you a quote from the report (mentioned
above) of our activities posted by the LifeBridge Foundation (also
expressing desire to help KidCast survive).
A MILLENNIUM ALLIANCE is born
========================================================
>Everything is in place to create a better world. There are millions
>of local and global projects and initiatives working to address all of
>the injustices that endanger our future. There are billions of acts of
>compassion shared each and every day. And yet many feel they are
>alone in their efforts because the media tells us the world is getting
>worse.
>
>Once we realize how much is being done and how universal is the
>desire for a better world, it will change us individually and as a
>global community. We will have hope. We will believe that we
>can create a more peaceful, just and sustainable world, because we
>already are. When we realize this, we will be inspired and
>empowered to continue our efforts, and countless new efforts will
>be born and nurtured.
....and so it is!
We now turn our eyes to the future. Children's Interactive Expo
[http://creativity.net/events/] will be upon us in a wink (Oct 8-11). Let
us know if you would like to volunteer? We need KidCast mentors/teachers
and digital storytelling tour guides. Contact us (415.776.0821) if you
will be in the area and want to assist? FYI: Grant and foundation
deadlines for funding loom. I am doing diligence by pursuing these sources.
You still have time for funding support for *your* net based project from

>THE LONELY NET
>A two-year, $1.5-million study by researchers at Carnegie Mellon University,
>funded by the National Science Foundation and major technology companies,
>has concluded that Internet use appears to cause a decline in psychological
>well-being. A director of the study says, "We are not talking here about
>the extremes. These were normal adults and their families, and on average,
>for those who used the Internet most, things got worse." One hour a week of
>Internet use led on average to an increase of 1% on the depression scale, an
>increase of 0.04% on the loneliness scale, and a loss of 2.7 members of the
>subject's social circle (which averaged 66 people). Although the study
>participants used e-mail, chat rooms, and other social features of the
>Internet to interact with others, they reported a decline in interaction
>with their own family members and a reduction in their circles of friends.
>"Our hypothesis is, there are more cases where you're building shallow
>relationships [on the Internet], leading to an overall decline in feeling of
>connection to other people." Since the 169 study participants, all from the
>Pittsburgh area, were not chosen in a random selection process, it is not
>clear how the findings apply to the general population, but a RAND
>Corporation senior scientist says, "They did an extremely careful
>scientific study, and it's not a result that's easily ignored." (New York

Children's Interactive Expo
http://www.place2b.com
The Children's Interactive Expo ("CIE"), October 8-11, 1998, is a
technology training event which offers unprecedented FREE training and
exposure to top quality technology for Teachers, Parents, Students and
Children. Its goal is to empower through hands-on, real life knowledge
of how (and why) to use these products. Attending Buyers, Press and
Government Officials experience how kids learn with technology and get
to see only the best children's products.
This year at the CIE we are going to feature Technology Learning Centers
(TLC's). Creativity Cafe=AE is the TLC focused specifically on engaging
students through arts, music & creativity. Music & Arts Education is
critical. By gathering Music & Arts Software/Technology Producers and
Developers with Music & Art Teachers and Students and other interested
parties, we can facilitate learning, dialog and progress with regard to
the adoption of music and art back into schools today. Using technology
as the conduit, many simple, effective, inspirational ways to
re-integrate art, music and creativity into school curricula will be
demonstrated.
Over the weekend, during CIE Family Days, hands-on Family Computing
Workshops show how to integrate technology into the home environment.
We are always looking to discover new and effective ways of using
technology which we can then introduce to our eager audience.
Creativity Cafe =AE is a truly collaborative environment allowing kids to
experience technology, produce and share art work online together.
Professional Musicians, Performers, Curriculum Experts, Software
Developers, Music Technology Companies, Music Organizations, Arts
Concerned Non-profits, Concerned Industry Leaders, Financial Interests,
Local Government Agencies, Music Schools, Storytellers, Digital Artists,
Multimedia Professionals, Role Models, Leading Research Organizations,
Software Developers and Technology Companies, Literacy Organizations,
Government Agencies, Schools, Teachers, Teacher's Colleges, Students,
Parenting Groups, Parents and Children will take part in the Creativity
Cafe. Model Curriculum and Content will be showcased. Student
Portfolios will be featured. Classes and Interactive Demonstrations
will be held and webcast. Students desiring to enter the field of
journalism will work with Professional Mentors to report online and in
print the daily happenings in the first trade journal ever published by
Kids, Psst!
Music In Schools Today ("MUST") and V.A.R.I.O.U.S. are primary driving
forces in the Creativity Cafe=AE. After enjoying the benefits of the CIE,
please remember to help support these most valuable and necessary
organizations. We at the CIE are proud to partner with these two
organizations in this grand undertaking.
Lend your support and expertise to help us bring the sounds of learning
back to schools. Can you imagine a world without music or art? We
can't either. With your active involvement and valuable resources, the
CIE can be even more effective. The following lists invited and/or

Creativity Cafe is a project of Visionary Artists Resources Including Other
Unique Services (V.A.R.I.O.U.S. a, 501c3 non-profit educational
association) founded by artists using technology for humanity. We are
seeking volunteers to be "KidCast Tour Guides" in our highly interactive
Expo environment featuring digital storytelling tools, live edu-tainment

THE NEXT AOL!!??
Pla.net America, Inc.
Symbol: PNTC
Price: 2 3/4
Pla.net may in the mid to long term go "as high as $25-30
per share based on projected EPS", an Internet analyst states.
"Based on the July 27, 1998 Forbes article, Pla.net may
achieve a greater result.", he adds.
Pla.net's (LAW™) incorporates a Lotus Domino platform hosted by
the IBM Global Network. The result is a level of speed,
reliability and security not easily matched in the online world.
Security is employed by countless companies in Intranet and
Extranet applications. Pla.net took these technologies one step
further through a fully customized Lotus Notes application in
order to enhance local markets. Sites are being offered to local
Developers in the form of e-property(™).
Pla.net is ahead of schedule for their North America-wide launch
on September 14th. On September 14th, Pla.net will be ready to
light up North America with 62 sites activated, covering every
state capital, plus Washington D.C. and Ottawa Canada.
Pla.net's Intranet system is designed to capitalize on the fact
that 90% of commerce is done locally. The Company plans on
selling over 325 sites in the U.S. over a 3-year period. The
offering price on each site sold gives the Company $500,000,
per site, in the initial phase of development.
This analyst believes, and we quote, "Pla.net is the next $30
Internet stock currently trading under $3".
