Much of the support for Pulsar on infomall has been set up
You can begin putting content in this web site now
as described below.
The main thing not yet done is the web redirects to access this stuff
via www.pulsar.org
 
In the future we can
1) add a service to handle CGI (currently not handled)
2) get log analysis rolling
3) install the more disk space you mentioned you might want to buy/provide
 
The content can be accessed via npac workstations
<npac-workstations>:/infomall/tenants/pulsar/htdoc-ro      (readonly web)
                                              /password      (for .htaccess)
                                              /ftp-ro        (readonly ftp)
These files are owned and group owned
UID = w_pulsar
GID = wg_pulsa
The password for w_pulsar is the same as for davew
it can be changed with 'passwd' on nova
 
The htdoc-ro directory appears at URL
        http://www.infomall.org/pulsar
This material can only be served out to the world, the webserver can not
modify it in any way.
 
Any .htaccess files you may sprinkle in your htdoc-ro directory can
reference web passwords placed in files the 'password' directory
The path is  /srvtools/password/pulsar/<whatever>
 
The ftp-ro directory appears at the URL
        ftp://ftp.infomall.org/pulsar
This material can only be served out to the world, the ftpserver can not
modify it in any way.
 
 
Note that you can not modify things in /infomall/tenants/pulsar directly
     only in the provided subdirectories
Note that links (hard or symbolic) between the above directories will *not* work
 
Note that nothing has been done to make html links to link you in
Note that your current setup does not provide CGI services
     This can be arranged.....
Note that while logs are collected, they are currently not analyzed for
     this infomall site
