  • A free version of the GNU C/C++ compiler for Intel 386 (and higher) under MS-DOS.

The "dj" in "djgpp" is D. J. Delorie. This is a pretty bloated compiler compared with Mix's Power C, because of the Unix virtual memory heritage of gcc, and because MS-DOS is such an abysmal development environment. The "gpp" is "Gnu Programming Platform", as it includes C++ too.
