CAMP SYNERGY
COMES TO BIG ISLAND!

Kids from 8 to 19 will have two special opportunities to experience Camp Synergy, an event described by its creators as “mini-science fair which combines near-magical technology, creative thinkers and a sense of humor to educate and at the same time engage kids with projects and demonstrations that are both good work and good fun.”

The sessions are scheduled for Monday, June 12, from 1~5 pm at Tutu’s House, in the Parker Ranch Shopping Center in Waimea and Wednesday, June 14, from 10 am~2 pm in the Cafeteria at Waikoloa Elementary School.  RESERVATIONS ARE A MUST! So call Tutu’s House at 885-0995 for the Monday, June 12 session, and 885-4200 for the Waikoloa Wednesday, June 14 session.

Sponsored by the Institute for Interventional Informatics ~ some of the people participating in the Strong Angel exercise ~ the Camp is unique chance for our kids to see computers, the internet and cutting edge technology used  to help improve quality of life, health care, education and recreation.

Don’t miss it!

Tutu’s House is a project of Friends of the Future, a Waimea-based non-profit organization. Throughout the year, staff and volunteers from the community offer a wide variety of opportunities which encourage individuals to make informed decisions about their personal health-related quality of life.  The views expressed by individuals presenting programs at Tutu’s House do not necessarily reflect the philosophy of Friends of the Future or Tutu’s House. Donations and volunteers welcome; for more information and to sign up for programs, call 885-6777.
