Here's a listing of some of my works. Its my intent to make these works available for download. However, I haven't yet commented some pieces of code in a way which would render itself readable. Once I shake off my lethragy in doing so, this page should look different. In the meanwhile if you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to do so ;)
A complete API for Image-Processing.
Using the Java API for Image Processing, Image objects can be created from raw data, the raw
data of an existing Image Object and be examined, and filters created to have modified versions.
These Image Objects can be used exactly the same as Image objects created by the Java
run-time system, they can be drawn to a display surface, or the result of a filtering operation can
be used as input for further image processing
User / Technical Manual for the ImageProcessing Toolkits.
This provides the user/technical details of writing the ImageProcessing FIlters
and their use in the ImageProcessing Applet. So roll on folks ....
A minimal API for IIOP-based Collaboration in Java, the same API is also available using Java-RMI.
First generation systems were represented by custom Java based collaboratory
server technologies such as NCSA Habanero or JavaSoft JSDA. The recent onset
of distributed object and/or component technologies opens new interesting
avenues for the standards based collaboratory infrastructure. However,
selecting a specific direction in the exploding field of distributed object
and component technologies is not an easy task. CORBA offers one promising
approach, especially for from the large scale computing perspective, the pure Java solution using RMI provides an alternative approach.
Image-Processing classes are available for download.
A part of this toolkit was included within the Java AWT, Networking SuperBible -Waite Group Publications
Collaboration classes are available for download. This includes only the IIOP implementations of the classes. RMI Implementation is complete and would be also available soon.
