Due to the holiday and coming down with a cold, I didn't actually get much done. I was just going to write a combined report at the end of this week, but I'll give you something now. Beginning of last week I was in Syracuse to meet with Alvin to discuss his thesis, and I edited revisions he'd made on a couple of chapters. I was hoping to be able to give him his qualifying exam, but it still hasn't been OKed by the CIS committee. I suggest we give it to him via email once it has been OKed. Ernie told me that would be OK. I also did some more edits on Saleh's paper and some more work on installing the RIB, which I still haven't finished yet, and talked to Gang a little about Tango. I'll send you a report on this week's work tomorrow. I'm back in Syracuse for a couple of days, to meet with David and Gang and systems about the NHSE chemistry repository and to meet with Saleh to try to finish his paper. I can meet with you sometime today or tomorrow if you want.
