The NPAC Visible Human Viewer

This Java applet allows you to select and view high-resolution images of 2-dimensional slices of a human body, taken from the Visible Human Project image data.

To down load Netscape's Java-enabled browser, you can try Netscape's FTP download site and looking for Netscape 2.0 beta 3 suitable for your platform.
Image Controls :
The cyan or red line indicates the slice position
in that viewpoint. The viewpoint with the cyan line
is currently active. You can drag the line to any
new position you want to select that slice.

Upper Controls :
Pressing the X button selects the Axial viewpoint.
Pressing the Y button selects the Coronal viewpoint.
Pressing the Z button selects the Saggital viewpoint

Middle Controls :
The adjust buttons (the triangle buttons) let you
fine tune the exact slice number you want.
Press the Preview button to preview the slice sample.
When want to see the full size picture, press the
Load button to pop up an image slice window.

Lower Controls :
These controls give you the slice number information
in different viewpoints (X, Y, and Z). The blue color
indicates the current active viewpoint.
