User Guide for VitalZines

To use VitalZines, follow these steps:

• Add the questions to your online magazine. The HTML page containing the questions will be referred to as the question page. Above the list of questions, put a tag:
  This allows the program to find the questions.
  Here is an example of a question page.

• Make the text of the questions hyperlinked to an answer page for each question. The answers will be added to this page, below the question.
  Above question at the top of the answer page, put a tag:
  NOTE: The question must be on a single line immediatedly below this tag. This allows the program to find the question.
  Here is an example of an answer page, before any answers are added. This is what needs to be set up initially.

  NOTE: The answer page must be on the same server as the VitalZines program, and must be readable and writable by the user ID that runs the Web server.

• The answer page must have a hyperlink to the VitalZines program form.pl. This creates a form that the user fills in to add their answer. The form calls the program answer.pl which adds the answer to the answer page (there is no need to specify the filename for the answer file - it is obtained by the program using the HTTP_REFERER variable).
