If you're in college, you've probably already had a bunch of banks offering you credit cards. If you're in high school, you've probably gotten at least a couple of offers, or will soon.

There are good reasons to get a credit card. If you are planning to get one, why not make it one that's made for students. This fall, a major U.S. bank is issuing a credit card that will be geared toward students. It will have info on products and services that are of interest to students and offer discounts to students who use their credit card for qualifying purchases.
