Educational Materials from the Retooling Project's First Workshop
April 10-12, 1995
- Templates - the
outlines of many commonly used algorithms to solve linear equations.
- MPI - Message Passing Interface - a library for
writing parallel programs with explicit message passing, which is portable
to most
machines.
- Fortran M - a library for writing
coarse-grained
parallel processes in Fortran.
- Applications - a guide to using
parallel computing in scientific and business application areas.
- HPF - High Performance Fortran, a language to write
data parallel array algorithms efficiently and portably on many parallel
machines. This module is forthcoming, but meanwhile you can find
some material at this
HPF education page.
If you are interested in parallel algorithms for a particular application
area, some examples have been prepared in different programming languages
and libraries.
