Hi, Shawn:
    I fixed the problem without myself understanding why.  To satify
the boundary conditions, the reflection coefficients for e-theta and
e-phi should be different. In addition, in the normal direction,
there is only one e-total (same for all phi), as you observed.
    By the way, the absolute phase in the far field does not mean too
much.
