HyperWorld
Group meetings : 12 P.M Tuesdays
Project Leader : Dr.Wojtek Furmanski
People :
Projects :
A web-based framework for building community networks,integrating
databases, collaboratory, session management, navigation, etc.
Initial tasks are :
- To create a generic class for use with JDBC for db access and
manipulation
Right now for every database insert into a table, you have to make sure
that the values being inserted are not null etc. and if they are null then
appropriately the value should be set to null before using it in the
prepared statements. Also there's no generic way of handling database
records and fields.
- Develop a framework for building/maintaining IWT infospace.
- Install/test and figure out what is new with Oracle 8, OWS 3.0
- Figure out what these Object - Databases are all about.
Technologies :
