Shutdown Server
Specifies whether the server operates using HTTP (without security features) or
HTTPS (with security features). The HTTPS protocol uses the Secure Sockets Layer
(SSL) protocol to encrypt transmissions between the server and SSL-enabled
browsers. Before you can use HTTPS, you must create a site certificate using the
Site Certificate page. Once you generate the certificate, you can operate Jeeves
as a secure server by choosing the HTTPS protocol and restarting the server.
After restarting, access the Jeeves server using a URL of the form:
https://server_host_name:port_number
Specifies the port on your system that the server listens to for HTTP requests.
The port number can be any port from 1 to 65535. The standard port for HTTP is
8080.
Enables or disables the server's access control checking. Access control lets
you restrict or allow user access to web pages or resources (for example,
servlets). You use access control to specify certain privileges for specific
users or groups within a security realm. You set access control using the Access
Control page.
Specifies the name of the server's home page. The default home page is
index.html.
Restarts the server. You must restart the server if you change the protocol or
the port number.
Shuts down the server.
