On the Web pages, the price tag read $1149. It would cost me $1183 including shipping and handling. I chose credit card as the payment method, filled out the online form provided, and submitted it. Finally, I was informed about a successful order. However, when I called the company on Tuesday, Oct 20, 1998, and asked about the order, the sales rep, as rude as he could, told me that "there was a typo" on the online pages. They never emailed me back about the typo, nor called and apologized me for the mistake. In addition to these, they put a hold on my credit card for the amount of $1183, and had not released at the time of our conversation. I believe that a typo should not be an excuse for a company who sells hundreds of items per day (just an assumption, though). I think that this company practices improper marketplace activities you state in your pages such as misleading advertising, improper selling practices, non-delivery of goods or services, misrepresentation, unhonored guarantees or warranties, unsatisfactory service, credit/billing problems, etc. If you can contact the company about this manner and solve the dispute, I would appreciate your efforts. Sincerely yours, Ozgur Balsoy Payment Information: The customer has not paid for the product.
