Version 1.1.5 of the Granules
runtime for cloud computing was released on 01/31/2009. This release
includes samples demonstrating Iterative Map-Reduce involving multiple
stages that can be cascaded. Each stage can have multiple instances
(maps or
reducers) that are deployed on multiple resources, and the Granules
runtime orchestrates the execution of the computation till a termination
condition has been reached.
Version 4.0.2 released on
01/31/2009 as an external release. This release incorporates
several improvements in the transport layer. The release
provides improved concurrent connections support.
