Foil 2 Tango Collaboration System

An Applet based system using LiveConnect and plugin with Netscape3 and Signed Applets with Netscape4
Supports general shared event model of collaboration where it can share applications in Java, JavaScript, C, VRML, C++ (Open Inventor), Lisp (emacs)
  • Event sharing coordinated by Java Server
Has conventional general tools
  • Audio/Video Conferencing, Chat rooms, Whiteboard
Developed for command and control where has a simple event driven simulator built in
Most extensively used in education -- especially for course between Syracuse and Jackson State
  • Using JavaScript "guided tour" WebWisdom linking to 22,000 foils
