Foil 45 What are Profiles and Auditing?

1 Profiles and Auditing are the way to monitor (system logging) and record user database actions
2 They are used for:
  • investigating suspicious activity and .
  • gathering data about specific activity for performance tuning and system statistics.
3 These are just a DB way of saying logging.
4 As in other cases, Database field sometimes use its own different terms for the same thing in other fields.
