String Methods for Foil 79
1 The String object has one property: var n = myStr.length;
2 There are two groups of methods:
  • string markup methods (anchor, big, bold, etc.) for writing formatted strings into HTML documents
  • string manipulation methods (charAt, indexOf, substring, etc.)
3 Six new methods added in JavaScript 1.2
