The Event Object
1 An Event object (new in JavaScript 1.2) is passed to an event handler when an event occurs
2 There are 23 types of events, one for each handler: for example, a Click event is passed to the onClick handler when a link or form element is clicked
3 An Event object has up to 11 properties
