Array Methods
1 JavaScript 1.1 (and above) supports some powerful array methods:
  • myArray.sort( compFunc ) sorts myArray according to compFunc (a user-defined, numeric-valued function of two arguments) function compFunc( a, b ) { return a - b; }
  • myArray.join( sep ) returns a string of elements separated by sep
  • myArray.reverse() reverses the order of the elements in myArray
