2 Videos can be digitized in various compression formats
  • MPEG - requires 1.5-1.8Mb/s network bandwidth
  • H263+audio - requires 50-150Kb/s network bandwidth
3 NPAC VOD database allows to search for video clips specifying keywords through Web page interface
4 Video clips can be randomly-accessed during playing
  • via Video Client application slider
  • via links on caption text Web page
