1 Authors and Readers: An Authors field is to hold a list of user names, group names and access roles. Use authors fields to give users who have Author access in the database access control list the right to edit the documents they create. Create a Readers field to limit the read access to a document to only the users or groups listed in the Readers field
2 Names: To display user or server names as they appear on Notes IDs. Use Names fields to display names when you don't need to assign access rights to documents. Use a Names field to display the creator of a document or to maintain a list of users who edit the document
