Foil 24 Object Adapters

1 Object Adapters allow the object implementation to access services. The interface is unique for a particular ORB.
2 Object Adapters are on the server side and may provide the following functionalities:
  • generation of object references and interface to the naming service
  • method invocation
  • security of interactions
  • oject and implementation activation and deactivation
  • mapping object references to the corresponding implementations
