These pages were optimized for for the Adobe SVG viewer available from http://www.adobe.com/svg/.

For Windows and Mac platforms you can download the viewer from the above location (depending on your OS version, you may get an option to install the viewer automatically when you visit an SVG page like this). At the time of writing you can also download beta 1 versions of the Adobe viewer for some Linux and Solaris browsers.

The following instructions worked for us using Mozilla under Red Hat Linux 7.2:
  1. Log on as root.
  2. Download "RedHat Linux 7.1" version of the viewer from http://www.adobe.com/svg/viewer/install.
  3. Unpack the software, e.g.: 
               cd /usr/local
           gunzip -c /tmp/adobesvg-3.0-linux-i386.tar.gz | tar xvf -
  4. Install it: 
               cd adobesvg-3.0
           ./install.sh
Unfortunately we found this version of the plugin caused our Mozilla browser to die under Red Hat 9.0...
