What's research?
Thoughtful study of well posed interesting/important question
taking account of other relevant studies.
Some key aspects of “Research”
Becoming a researcher; Identifying and applying to graduate
school; what jobs are there – industry, university, national laboratory; the
four paradigms of research methodology; Learning what Research and Development
are. These are other aspects of research will be covered in course. One key
aspect of (modern) research is collaboration and team work and that will be
required
