This pilot project will implement a GPU test version of a simulation of cardiovascular control with focus on medullary sympathetic outflow and baroreflex.
Intellectual MeritThis is primarily a feasibility test.
Broader ImpactsOur current MATLAB based simulations modeling physiological processes would benefit from the acceleration potential provided by GPU/HPC computing.
